 About Me
Although I am able to work from several different treatment approaches, I specialize in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders:
depression, OCD, PTSD, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and compulsive hoarding.
In addition to private practice, I serve as a
psychologist in several other contexts: Palo Alto Therapy (a clinic
specializing in CBT treatment) and Gateway Psychiatric Services (a
clinic that specializes in evidence based treatment for mood
disorders). In order to further my interest in research and program
development, I have also been working as a consulting psychologist for
Peninsula Community Services, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated
to helping people with hoarding issues. Finally, one of the highlights
of my career so far has been serving as adjunct faculty member at Palo
Alto
University, where I supervise doctoral students in clinical psychology
at the Kurt and Barbara Gronowski Clinic, a low fee clinic that aims to
serve those who may not be able to access treatment services in other
ways.
Apart from my work as a therapist, I enjoy exploring my neighborhood, hiking, camping, creative endeavors, attending live shows, and spending time with friends.
